All that one believes in, adheres to, and
is bound by determines his state of comfort.
To reject, then, one’s state is to reject
it all. On how grand a scale is such a
monument of reality. Friends,
family, people, places, ideas,
actions, notions and governments, motions
and races, the air you breathe, the water
you drink, the sky you see(k) and the earth you
walk on—all serve to grant you your comfort.
What, then, must you give up and what else is
it, then, that man and men must worship—
