Pink fire

when I saw you I froze-—still, shocked, I stood still,
though in a moment—honest—I saw beauty born true—
something in the way I didn’t phase you pleased you
and I moved in awe and saw such a shinning will—

“pink fire” set me higher than like a sun setting true—
one you see once and think you’ll never see again,
something like the light, bright, guiding good men
through the days and the waves of passion and hue—
