learn

you must build up each day
with essential foundations;
it is not the job of the sun
to rise and fall at your dismay,
but simply to shine over your way:
to change a pattern you must break it,
to follow, though, one evolves,
like wolves turned dog—
dogmatic domestication
turning the word, flipping the world,
your love is a coin toss,
praying hard for the coming night.
