my gaze won’t lie about

my gaze won’t lie about
longing for a vast ocean expanse;
it lowers so I am raised
by the guiding waters between us
as we ripple through each other,
slow, like dark wet sand racing as fast as night:
when flash does your fire smile wave
and the white foam crashes home,
and with the cool air you glow
crimson in the skies,
and you spark green life in me!
