and I do I build

and I do I build
mountains out of airs and stares,
but I’ll meet someone at the top
and we go way back in time,
we circle the worlds
day and night—
“but what if you
could reach a certain depth,
certain as the sun never knowing night,
then you could plant something
and together then fly high,
not for pesky little thoughts little devils make believed,
like hiding in the darkness grants depth between us three,
you and me and our poetry.
