o you would think

o you would think
nature’s ways would
have the answer you seek
with her leaves swaying
in the breeze
waving to you in waves
of veiny green golden
under the sun sweeping through horizons
making shade your way
until the birds whistle-in the long night:
renew the meaning of life
imbue your self with life
a day has come and passed,
but god is first true and ever-last—
and our hopes take to their flight
shimmering with the stars above
murmuring seas and trees brushing clouds,
and make the sunrise out of our fear,
carrying upon our shoulders
all the live long day,
in a sing-song way, wondrous,
a wind that lifts us near
